Ginseng and Caffeine
What are people's opinions on Ginseng or Caffeine usage? I've read a whole mixed bag of reviews of whether ginseng (Siberian, Asian) has any positive effects at all. Most people say that caffeine can give you a boost, but what about developing dependence? What about those (such as myself) who don't drink coffee and rarely consume any caffeine at all? Some also say caffeine can help cause bowel movements.....is that just coffee or is that caffeine in general? Any thoughts, comments, opinions appreciated.
Nothing wrong with it...especially if you cycle it and use it more in the AM. Scott did a good post on caffeine here:
My advice....don't do any coffee too close to race time....otherwise you may end up in the bathroom when the starting gun goes off.
