Approach to CA Training
I'm new here (new to posting atleast), and I am looking into starting the CA WOD. what is the best approach to starting them. I'm looking into the starting with March 8, 2010 (it says week1)
My current stats are: 5'10, 209lbs. (bodyfat >15%) Squat (Highbar) - 345 x 1 Deadlift - 435 (400 x 5 DOHG) Press - 165 x 5 Clean - 245 Clean and Jerk - 225 Snatch - 165 I'm taking a real liking to weightlifting and want to approach the training the proper way. Any ideas or tips would be great! Thanks guys! |
Just jump in on a week 1 monday and you'll be fine. Pay attention to recovery and drop some sets or exercises if you find you're not recovering adequately. Once you get conditioned, you should be able to ramp it back up to the full meal deal.
