Injured Wrist
I was working my planche progression yesterday and the pressure on my right wrist started to lean towards the realm of unbearable. I continued my worked out doing front & back levers and they did not bother my wrist.
Should I continue to train levers and lay off the planche and handstands for a little bit, or just let my entire upper body rest?

The pain is on the lateral side of my wrist. It disects my hand between my 2nd & 3rd finger and spreads over.

Lay off anything that hurts.

Anti-inflam, non-painful mobility work, ice or heat if they help, etc.

so far i have been stretching it by placing my palms on the ground and rolling up on my knuckles and just slowly shifting my weight around, as well as icing 2-3 times a day. I can now do pushups without any pain, but i still plan on laying off of pushing for at least a week. I ordered a pair of tiger paw wrist supports as well

You definitely don't need tiger paws.

It is healing pretty well. I have been able to practice levers and pull-ups without any pain. Yesterday I was even able to get into a support hold on the rings without any pain. However when I placed my hands on the parrallettes I could immediatley feel the spot that I had injured. I have been stretching 3-4 times a day and icing 2-3 times. Im guessing thatthe cause could of been that my wrist flexors were tight, as the stretching is what seems to be helping the most.

Thanks Luis! It is healing pretty well. This week I was able to reintroduce training dips and tuck planches. I was also able to hold my 8 second tuck planche off the floor. I was also able to do 3x1 of full ROM HSPU on parralletes.
My wrist is feeling better day to day. For now I am backing off the adv. tuck planche and working more on the tuck.

BTW i checked out your blog, pretty cool stuff. Can't wait to see more!
