Question on GPP
I just read that good GPP makes high volume powerlifting easier on the CNS. So does this mean that getting good at sled dragging or prowler sprints means a smolov cycle is easier to recover from? Truth?

Means walking up a flight of stairs is more doable if your doing nothing but olympic lifting or powerlifting

I find that sled dragging works nicely as a recovery day. I always feel better after dragging the sled. Nice to be able to get some GPP conditioning work that complements the heavy training. YMMV, but it doesn't seem to have a negative effect on my lifting days.
Prowler just always sucks. |
Yes. If you do more, you can do more.
