Small alteration to classic/position cycle
Greg- I had an opportunity to see a coach today and the session went well--I even prd the c&j. He helped me with a few things happening in my snatch, but there's a few things I'm going to really have to work on. Particularly, I will need to focus on reducing my head whip and over extending my hips durring the 2nd pull which is throwing the bar way out in front of me. For that he said I'm going to want to practice tall snatches. Monday, I'll be restarting the classic/positions cycle (and cut out all the other junk I was doing before) but I'd like to add in tall snatches at least one day each week. Initially I thought Tuesdays would be a good day to start a session with tsx3x3 and each week increase slightly. I wanted to know what u think about this and if you would incorporate them differently.
You can do a few sets of 3 2-3 days / week. I would do them before you do your snatches so the movement will prime you for the snatches that follow.
