I'm following the Mass Gain Program and have a few questions:
1- Sotts presses- is that 10 sets of 2 reps for each arm?
2- Rope climb- does a set of 2, comprise of two 15 foot rope climbs, or?
3- I'm in the first week of the Strength Mesocycle and notice a few exercises seem way to too easy (notably the 3 position cleans and 3position snatches @60%). Comments?
4- Measuring progress- what would be good progress- a pound of bodyweight added per week/month?
1 - Yes, 2 reps per arm
2 - Yes, 2 15' climbs
3 - The percentages are pretty low to allow room for increases. You may have to adjust the first week depending on how you feel. Also be sure that you're using percentages of the right movement, e.g. 3 pos snatch is 60% of your 1RM snatch, not your 1RM 3 pos snatch.
