Good Feet?

I noticed my feet are out of position from time to time in the snatch. For example...my right foot will farther back then my left. Are there any drills I can do to ensure my feet land in the proper position...or am I over thinking this?

I notice people snatch on a piece of wood on the floor..does this help?

thanks.

You don't necessarily need a board to stand on. You can draw a box on the floor or place a 3/4 inch board behind your right foot to help keep from moving your foot out of position. Try some Tall Snatches and some Heaving Snatch Balances before you Snatch.

Personally, I don't think it's a problem unless they are way off. As Balke said, draw a line across and line your toes on it. After hitting the lift, don't shift feet and look down to see where you landed. If it's not very much, like less than an inch, I would not worry about it!!
