foods that lower blood pressure
Please suggest some foods that lower blood pressure? Do you eat any specific foods that is effective with lowering blood pressure?
I am asking this because I recently performed a blood pressure test and my result was in the high 130 and low 90 - 133/88 mmHg - measurement performed 3 times in a row. I know this is no severe high blood pressure, but talking into account that normal blood pressure is anything below 120/80 I am little worried.
So, if you're so kind and suggest me some effective food to lower blood pressure, I'd be grateful.

And before you mention it - I reduced salt intake to almost zero! So, no salt for me ;)

Thanks for replying.

My blood pressure is normal now, happy to say!

These tools helped me a lot: Blood pressure calculator, BMR calculator and weight loss calculator.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are good for lowering the blood pressure.
Garlic and green leafy vegetables are more effective to reduce the high blood pressure.
