Hi, this is my first competition of this season. I am training 4 times/week and focused on squat strength and snatch consistency for the past couple months.
My PRs prior to this meet my were:
Total 235@89 (competition)
Snatch - 110 (competition), 112.5 (training, straps)
Clean and jerk - 131 (competition)
Rack jerk - 136
Front squat - 140
Nice work. Good comeback on the 110 snatch, and I don't even know how you pulled off that 132 CJ.
All in all, really good. A couple really minor things - try keeping the pressure against the ground for a split second longer in the pull (i.e. don't pick up the feet quite so soon) - that should help prevent your feet from sweeping back that little bit and get you into a more solid receiving position. On the jerk, drive a little longer before you split.
Thanks Greg, I'll give those a shot. I have been going after a CJ pr for a while now... I was not going to give up on that one no matter what.
