Mobility for Sots Press?
I have no problem taking an overhead squat to full depth and can snatch ok as well but when i try to do Sots Presses(front or back) i seem to be lacking some shoulder mobility.
Does anyone else experience this or have advice to fix? Thanks!
It's definitely a tough movement. If your shoulder mobility is fine then it may be a restriction somewhere else. Make sure your pecs are stretched out and maybe even foam roll the armpit area (infraspinatus/teres minor area). Also it may be a restriction in thoracic extension as well.
