Theory behind the 10x3 Squat Program?
Does anyone know the reasoning behind doing 10 sets of 3?
I wasn't sure about it at first but the program is feeling good so far. I like all the rest :)
I followed this type of program when I was in my early twenties, with excellent results! I was bodybuilding, so I was really after the size, but the low reps really helped push my strength up. I guess the theory behind it is to push up strength with low repetitions, while allowing for a higher volume because of the increased number of sets. Never look a gift horse in the mouth, my friend, if you find something that works for you, just go with it!
