Pendlay (I dont know if its his method) method = a pull to the hips, when the hips explode forward and there is a bit of a barbell swing outwards from the body as it goes up.

Catalyst method = triple extension - 2-3 pulls upwards keeping the bar close all the time before going under.

These are both the same thing, really!! They don't use different technique, but they teach the tech differently.
