I would say that if you're recovering well, you can move right into the next cycle. I don't think you need to take it completely off, unless you feel like you're totally wrecked from the previous cycle.
In between those two, you can take a deload week, but it sounds like you really don't need it. Most of the programs start you off a bit lighter anyways. However, I notice on most of his programs he says to take a light(er) week to deload. So, not really sure.
