Are you a general fitness enthusiast or an athlete? I think you are fine taking a break every 3-4 weeks to prevent CNS down-regulation or "crashing." Westside barbell has idenitified that various aspects of the CNS start to suffer if we go more than 3 weeks hard, even if you are rotating movements. Take that fourth week to rehab, prehap, conditioning aerobically, or whatever to help reboot the system and get out of the recovery debt. This of course will depend on your experience level and current strength level. If you aren't extremely strong than periodic deload microcycles or weeks would suffice for sure. Hope that helps.
