Default Good Feet?

I noticed my feet are out of position from time to time in the snatch. For example...my right foot will farther back then my left. Are there any drills I can do to ensure my feet land in the proper position...or am I over thinking this?

I notice people snatch on a piece of wood on the floor..does this help?
