Hey guys, I posted a while back with a clean and jerk video and I feel I've cleaned up my technique since then but still lots of work to do. This is close to my max on a day where I wasn't feeling very on, my low back rounds a bit out of the bottom, and I think I may have come onto my toes a bit on the dip for the jerk. I also clipped myself in the chin, and I have no idea when the last time I did that was so that threw me a bit and I didn't punch my head through very well and almost lost it forward. I also started my camera man at the 3/4 angle and I didn't notice that he'd moved to the side until after but oh well. Thanks in advance
The lower back is rounding a little bit but what do you expect with a heavy weight on a day when you're not feeling on.
The Jerk is definitely forward. Careful you don't lock out that back leg. Keep the back knee soft so you're absorbing the hips straight down rather than move front to back and possibly putting pressure on your lower back while bearing that heavy load overhead.
Other than that it looks pretty good for a high percentage lift.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll get another one posted from a bit better angle and hopefully one where I don't clip myself in the chin and see what my weight distribution looks like, I'll also post a snatch video and hopefully get some feedback on that as well. Does the depth of my dip on the jerk look alright?
