Default Blood on the Barbell by Dan John

http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1569225

Great article it was half wrap up of some of his past great articles and half wisdom in dealing with life and working out.

Tabata Front Squats are evil, for all those people that email DJ about "why not do it with more weight....and all that crap" like DJ said, they obviously did not try it the way he said to do it.

I couldn't even hack 95 pounds the first time I tried it after the first 2 "sets" I wisely reduced my weight to 75 pounds and that still floored me. Too many people are over analyzing and not enough doing.

Posted by Gary over at T-nation, reposted due to hilarity:

Tabatas still throw people. I remember that time in Vegas when we had the guy from the audience demonstrate. He did the front squat. Did good and about died.

I did 100 reps with the dead once. Just bodyweight, cuz I wasn't sure if I might accidently kill myself. Dan sends me these workouts to get even with the evil we did to him when he was younger.
Gary, is you and your brothers sense of humor genetic?
