Acid Reflux Indegestion Help?
Guys I need some help, everything I eat during the week is really annoying me not like the symptoms you get from eating hot and spicy but just like my food is not digesting and sitting around at the top of my throat! I know I need to cut back on the diet drinks, but what else can I do besides going with nexium or something similiar! thanks

You need to cut out the diet drinks, period.
If you'd like to discuss treatment options that can get rid of the acid reflux, contact my office to set up a phone consult.
The raw ACV taken before meals (or other herb combinations known as bitters) may be enough, it may not.
Digestive problems nearly always have nutrition and lifestyle (lack of sleep, too much stress) as the culprits.

prilosec
not all medicines are bad. prilosec/nexium/aciphex can help so much. but, u may also have h. pylori
1. go to your md and ask for h. pylori test
2. take the drug cocktail for 2 weeks, its an antibiotic (or 2), proton pump inhibitor (prilosec or similar), and pepto-bismol
3. after 2 weeks stop and for many the problem is solved.
also, try googling for "GERD diet" and start following the recs. stop caffeine and food before bed. try sleeping with the head of your bed one inch off the ground.

Here is whats weird about the whole thing this bothers me during the day right up until I start the w.o.d. then its over, until about 10:00 or so the next day! like right now its not bothering me and I just had 4 scrambled eggs two pieces bacon along with my crack (diet pepsi) doesn't bother me when I sleep unless I do something stupid like eating nacho's or hot wings chased with budweiser. Dr G, I may be calling you! thanks again

You may still have problems with insulin production. The diet sodas may be the issue.

Thomas,
I'm pointing the finger at the diet sodas (crack isn't good for anyone :-) ) AND the late-night junk foods. Eating a lot close to bedtime (whenever that is) is a surefire way to exacerbate any tendency towards GERD you may have.
Until you get those out of your diet for a significant period and observe the results, you might as well save your time and money on consulting with me. I'm being honest here. That's likely the issue.
