Protein Allergy and rotation
I'm unclear on the idea of protein allergy from eating the same protein sources all the time. Is this inevitable, common, or just possible? How does it manifest (symptoms)? Is it reversable?
I know the standard recommendation is to rotate protein sources, but I haven't heard consistent recommendations about time frames, ie eat chicken for a week, then eat beef for a week, whatever. Also, what about protein powders? If they're processed, do they still offer the potential for allergy development?
