we had our nephews (3 & 5) for this past weekend. the 5yo asked for juice and looked at me as if i was from outer space when i told him we didn't have any juice. later, during dinner, he proceeded to tell us that we needed to go to the store get get jelly and bread so he could have a pb&j sandwich, amongst other items loaded with sugar. the constant cries for candy corn fell upon deaf ears.

BTW, the 5yo gave my wife pink eye...which means I now have pink eye.

Ahh the joys of conjunctivitis. Just remember to wash your hands and don't rub your face at all! No touching period. We have had pink eye in our house probably 3 to 4 times in the last 4 years and I only caught it once which was about a month ago. Really the main thing is wash all the time and don't touch your face. If your wife gets drops she will be fine in a couple of days.
