Default Crossfit In The Park 12/07/2007

Leo put together a great little WOD for us at our normal spot Gemini Springs Park in Debary FL. Unfortunately a very involved individual on a John Deere Gator showed up while we were in the middle of our workout and informed us that the public park was reserved and we needed to get that rope down from the tree right now.

So us being the concerned polite citizens we are loaded up all our gear and moved to another area of the park. Where Leo reworked the WOD and came up with this short little doozy.

5 rounds for time
15 36 LB KB Swings adults, 11 LB KB for JR
5 Burpees
100 - 200 Meter sprint (Leo wrote 100 but I am telling you it was at least 200)

Jr's swings could have been a little better and he didn't want to go chest to deck on the burpees because of the fire ants, but he really flew through the WOD. Worst part was he wasn't even breathing hard. Oh the joys of age. I thought I was going to pee my pants. Like I said lots of fun and a great way to finish the week.

I know that crazy Leo, he eyeballs stuff and next thing you know we are running a half marathon . Leo posted a great picture of Derek Jr levitating a KB over on the news page of www.crossfitevolution.com. Here it is.

Leo graciously was teaching Jr how to KB juggle when the picture was taken. My only concern was for the tile floors in our house. Egads!
