Monica Reinagel, a noted nutritional researcher, is the creator of the IF (Inflammation Factor) Rating™ system. Before creating her system, she spent years studying systemic inflammation, and compiled data from hundreds of different research studies. Her system considers the inflammatory and anti-inflammatory effects of more than twenty separate nutrients. In ND's opinion, this rating system is the most sophisticated approach to date for predicting the inflammatory effects of foods.

I liken this "approach" to those who look at wheat and say it is full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, so therefore it is very healthy--all the while being ignorant or denying the existence of anti-nutrients, lectins, evolutionary biology, etc. This person bases their system on 20+ nutrients, which means that hundreds, thousands, maybe millions, are ignored.
Talk to anyone who has black-boxed nightshades, particularly peppers, and found them extremely pro-inflammatory to get their opinion of her "system".
Remember what opinions are like...
