One pair of 45# bumpers enough?

Brandon Enos Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: California Posts: 169	One pair of 45# bumpers enough? I want to buy some bumper plates, but since their expensive, wondering if I could get by on just getting a pair of 45s? What if I had a 45# bumper on each side along with a 45# iron on each side, the bumpers will still do their job and protect the floor and what not correct?
