I echo what Allen has written above. I don't cycle the "health" supps that I take now.
I do cycle creatine. I'm also cycle MHP's a-bomb when I use it. I always use it for 8 weeks on 8 weeks off. I'm on a off cycle right now.
I do not cycle the joint supps. I would consider those "health" supps and take them religiously every morning and every night. Same with Fish Oil/DHA.
Hope that helps?
All the best,
Arden

I am in agreement with Arden and Allen. It's funny I ran out of whey last week and hadn't been to the store so I wasn't getting my once daily shake where I add my glutamine and I really have been feeling beat down. I wonder if that is part of my energy / recovery problem this last week.
My non cycled stuff is ZMA, Fish Oil, Multi, Whey and usually Glutamine. I cycle on and off a pre-workout drink and creatine.
Arden, how did the season finish?

Not to pirate the thread, but my season has gone well. I actually exceeded a lot of my previous bests. Unfortunately, I blew it at the ESPN finals this year. Otherwise, I've had a great year. But the "blowing it" has motivated me to train even harder and "stay the course" on the program I'm on. I'll get there. I've got a lot of good years left in me (in my sport, the prime years are between 35 and 55).
Thanks so much for asking.
All the best,
Arden

Arden,
Hijacking myself...Are you going to be on TV at all? That would be cool.

Yep. Old stuff airs all the time on ESPN Classic. The 07 series will likely start airing in a few weeks. The 08 Series will likely not start airing until after Thanksgiving. The shows normally air on ESPN2 as part of their Outdoor programming which is normally Sunday Morning and early afternoon. Last year, they were scheduled in the late afternoon (between major network TV Shows to catch "surfing" viewers).
Thanks for the interest. It's a crazy hobby.
All the best,
Arden
