The stuff from Trader Joe's sure tastes like olive oil. I've only read through page 2 so far, but I'll be bookmarking it for later. It seemed like most of the fraudulent oil (if it really is that widespread) is being sold in Europe anyway.
This tidbit was especially interesting:
"Each cubicle contained a sink, several tulip-shaped tasting glasses with lids to trap aromas, and a yogurt-maker with a thermostat, used to warm the glasses to twenty-eight degrees Celsius, the temperature at which the aromatic substances in the oil are volatilized, making it optimum for tasting."
