Kurls Baby, all about the kurls
these are a sick. I tried these today...unique and really effective at making your forearms puff up like little piglets...
http://napalmjedd.blogspot.com/2008/...with-band.html
extra sickness can be induced by doing them with a crush grip..
mmmm bacon.

I'll have to remember to give these a go my next upper body day.

I played around with these today. Strange movement, when I was done, I was just done there was no halfway up it was just stuck at the bottom and no upward movement was going to happen.

got up to 3 sets of 3 with a 32k and two pallet bands with a crush grip. At this weight you can engage all sorts hip thrust flailing to absolutely no avail....
when people will ask you why you don't just do kurls...the only rational response is to scream WARDIESELWESTSIDEKETTLEBALLZZZZZZ!

I hate on curls normally, but damn son, those look tough.
I'll give em a whirl with my 20 kg. Doesn't sound like itll be easy.

I'm sort of operating on the assumption that they could be helpful/functional for both grip and elbow strempf...picking an atlas stone or even a heavy keg off the deck can really trash the whole forearm, bicep, chest axis where you feel like your arms have been stretched right out of the sockets.....these really seem to hammer that bit, that along with the old pententiary standby..towel pullups.
