Fat Loss Supplements
Just thought I'd start this up to get some opinions on using fat loss supplements. I know nothing can replace a proper diet and enough exercise, but what does everyone think about adding a supplement such as (Lipo 6, Hot Rox, Hoodia, etc) to that plan. Is it too dangerous, not worth the money, or a bit of a cop out? Or is it an issue of simply using it correctly and relying on it too much (like any other supplement)? I would love to hear people's thoughts on the subject as I've been tempted to try a fat loss supplement to aid in my fitness goals to see what it can do.

If you are not losing weight already with eating and exercise, don't waste your money. Most are just appetite suppressors and/or try to up your stubborn fat release. Can work once you get down to really low BF and want to burn off the last bit, but for most people.....you don't need it or need to focus on the bigger things first...like eating correctly. It's like buying a new Porsche...when you need to learn how to drive a stick first.
That and ephedra worked the best....and you can't find that on the shelves anymore.

ephedra made me drop weight like crazy, but I wasnt doing it for any fitness thing. me and the friends used it for recrational use in the young and dumb days. wich is why the FDA banned it I think cause of dumb kids like me back then.

Any stimulant just begs to be overused, plain and simple.
Can anyone say caffeine?

It actually grows wildly as well. Its also known as "mormon tea" cause they used to brew a tea with it. Ive found it while backpacking before, and just pull a few pines/branches, hit em against a rock, and drop it into my water. Too much would give you a massive headache though.
Maybe learn a little horticulture and go foraging. But im with Garrett on this one, its American nature to do things in excess.
