Figured this might be of interest to some people here.
The ADCC trials for the south pacific region were held on Sunday March 8 in Sydney Australia. I entered (at under 66kg) for the first time looking more to build my experience competing at this level than to win. I lost my first match against eventual silver medalist
Jamie Ballard. I landed a couple of takedowns before Jamie managed to reverse from half guard, pass and catch me in a guillotine as I escaped his side control.

Under 65kg – David Marinakis
66-76kg – Rodney Ellis
77-87kg – Igor Praporshchikov
88-98kg – Anthony Perosh
99kg and Over – Denis Roberts
