Default Switch legs on the jerk? Poll.

I know it's been addressed so we don't need a discussion about why or why not. I think the end result from what I saw in previous post was if your training to compete don't switch if you training for strength and sport switch legs. I'm just curious who on this forum switches and who doesn't?

On my warm-up sets of two reps/set, I do a push jerk followed by a split jerk.

I found switching legs too confusing, and I'm not worried about creating imbalances with less than 10 reps a week of jerks.

I also figure doing my "B" squats (both front and back) will help minimize any imbalances.

I'd think if your jerking for the athletic benefits, and not to get better at oly lifting for competition, it would probably be better to just do push jerks. Then you dont even need to worry about switching legs.

You know I'm coming full circle on this myself. I am finding that I'd rather just do the power versions of the Oly lifts to improve myself, as that is what I do IRL.
