Default Interesting twist on the hip through

So we all know how to stand up in base right. check out this little video from coach steer. he's a scott sommer's flowfit, clubbell certified guy. if you start with all 4 limbs down in a quad squat (like you're prowling), and then you hip through but instead of picking up the opposite hand like you would any other time you're rolling, you keep it on the ground. you end up feeling this crazy muscle pull across your midsection. if you're already loose, you'll just feel your abs contract hard. if your back is kinda tight though, you'll feel this pull along your back ribs. i often have a lot of tension there, so i thought this was cool. it's prob from hipping through so often.

i don't think i would ever really do this while grappling because it feels somewhat awkward whereas picking up your hand is completely natural. i just found it so quirky that simply putting both hands down while hipping through made that much of a pull through my midsection.
