For me it did, after almost a ~5 days. Around 3 days I was looking into dropping the zma or other alternatives by the time I thought about buying what Shaf mentioned here:

I was over it by weeks end. I've been taking ZMA pretty consistently now for a while now with no sleeplessness problems.
