Oh ok so you were actually on the really high end of EPA+DHA.
Robb Wolf for injuries has said something about .5g EPA+DHA per 10 lbs of mass so if you're 200 lbs that's 10g EPA+DHA.
You probably don't need to go anymore than that... unless you can foot the bill and are seeing good effects still.
Oh yeah, and it's not just docs/pharma that does it. Most of the health professions are like this as well. There's some terrible PT clinics out there (good thing I don't work at one) as well as sham chiros.
Orthotics are waaaaaaaay overprescribed as well.
