P90X has great workouts, but they have a lot of stuff requiring weights/bands. If you don't have that stuff already, or aren't going to do the workouts at a gym, I don't really recommend them unless you can grab them a la carte (Plyo, Yoga, Kempo, and Cardio will be what you should get then).

They are solid workouts, and what Shaf said is the truth - DVD in, brain off.

That's what my wife needs when my buddy can't come by to train her and my mom (they do twice a week sessions).

I've got a whole garage gym, with some DBs (enough weight for them) and some JS bands, so equipment isn't an issue.

She did the YRG 20 minute workout the other day at home, so it's worth trying...I just won't have her do the plyo DVDs.

My younger sister and her husband graduated p90x right before Christmas. She loved the results but will not do it again as it just took way too much time. Her husband said he is going to pick up the 20 minute program which can be done 10 in morning and 10 in evening for her.

Her youngest child is just over a year now. Jamila you are going to be fine. Rest and some good clean eating and you are off and running. Remember no matter what you do you can't out train bad eating habits.
