Montier is one of my favorite people in the investing world. He's now working at GMO with Jeremy Grantham, another favorite. You can get PDFs of Grantham's quarterly letter, as well as, some of James' pieces free from the GMO website.

So I read Neil Gaiman's "Graveyard Book". It was pretty good. I would put it in the young teen section. It was not super dark and scary.




Anyone else read something good?

I just finished Gaiman's Neverwhere. That had some dark times.

It's probably time for me to reread Shantaram. I highly recommend it.

I liked "Neverwhere". I liked his other books better, particularly "American Gods". I think partly because the book was set in the Midwest and most of the places that he talked about I had been to. Apprently he lives in Wisconsin of all places.

Anyone read any Warhammer 40K?

Not my first choice for reading but I'm reviewing the Engineering-In-Training Reference Manual for this fall's FE Exam. I'm reviewing various other supplemental materials as well from ISA since I now find myself working in Measurement and Controls. I'm also going over investing stuff from oid.com, an organization that prides itself on Ben Graham stuff. So far it has been very good. Having said that, I'd rather have my nose in a good novel for sure if pleasure were my only goal.
