Default 173.5kg snatch by a 105kg American, yesterday

Enjoy. I know I did.

That was an awesome lift. Except for the slow recovery, it didn't look like a limit lift at all. Smooth and fast.

I've noticed that too, on some snatches at "limit" weights for him he is very slow to rise from them. Is it because he is trying to not lose the lift?

Inspiring.

I didn't think he had it (of course I knew he did from the title), but he looked to catch it and then do an overhead squat not using a bounce to get him out of the hole. I would guess that 173.5 is not this man's limit.

He rose slow because that was the end of a heavy week, he was very tired and sore, and was having some hip pain.
