Birthday TSC
For our birthdays the two Derek's (Weaver and me) are going to do a TSC. Anyone wanting to join the fun is welcome to post their results here or in your log. We plan on doing it on Monday the 26th.
If you have any questions on the TSC follow the rules from the 70's Big challenge located here. http://www.70sbig.com/?p=1534

For anyone on the fence. Jump in. I've been a mess and my training haphazard at best. But I'll still post my results here, no matter how badly I get blown out of the water.
By the way. There's something odd about us that we're thinking a good birthday celebration is a Max Effort based competition.

Just arrived at Fort McCoy here today, might jump on this tomorrow, checked the gym here and it's a regular globogym type so it'll be DB snatches and DL's with hex plates....fun times!

Allen you know you love DL'ing with hex plates!
Apparently I should have checked with my lifting crew before I said Monday. Not a single guy showed up today. Bastards! Maybe I shouldn't have told them what we were going to do. They all hated the snatch test last time. Ah well, me and my wifes girls all got to work out together...
DL open at 335, 355, 387 X F (had that sob all the way to my knees and couldn't lock it out, this is where I blame my buddies for not being here to cheer me on)
DH PU's 12
Snatch 24 KG KB 63 They were not pretty but it is done. (I wanted 15 per minute but after the first minute I knew it was wishful thinking)
All in all just some really blah numbers, but a good workout and I think I can already see a difference from the targeted HR work

I'd love to do this to celebrate your birthday with you but it'd mess with my lifts. Shame that the lads you train with didn't turn up, but at least you got to do it with a lady
Happy birthday to you both have a great day.

BW = 188
DL - 355 x 1, 385 x 1, 405 x F!@!#!@#!@#@!
pullups - 14
DB snatch - 55# - 74
Overall unhappy with my score, I wanted that 405! breaking 400 is my BANE!!@#!@#!@ I thought I had it for sure, but it just would NOT budge off the ground. Pullups, neh not my all time PR but ok. DB snatches, aiming for at least 50 and 74 I'll take, when I get home I'll have to try it with my KB to see how big of a difference it is.

BW: 163 lbs
Deadlift: 315, 340, 365+
Pull ups: 20
Snatches 24 kg: 84
Fine with deads. I had more in the tank, and set 365 lbs as the goal. Surprising that I didn't hurt myself with all the creative ways I've gotten hurt in the last year.
Pull ups I was bummed. I actually thought I would get to my upcoming birthday number (being 27) when I hit maybe 17. Took a rest at 20 and that was it. Couldn't clear my chin.
Snatches were good. Set the goal @ 80, and with all the KB stuff I have done in the last year, even with none in the last few weeks I figured it was doable. Still need to finish the Right of Passage with the 32 kg and the SSST with the 24 kg.

When I saw your KB Snatch numbers in your log I thought you were getting ready for an RKC Cert.
