Mass gain for Type 1 Diabetics
Does anybody have any experience of working with a type 1 diabetic towards a mass gain goal? Perhaps some of you are type 1 and have succesfully gained yourself? I'm reading around but can't say biology/endocrine stuff is my strongest point! I'd would be grateful for any hints, tips, general advice etc.
Intuitively I would assume the simple approach of maintaining whatever blood sugar management method/diet you're working with currently and simply applying this to the new intake/cal level? No need for a increased reliance/need for CHO?
Any inherenent difficulty in gaining weight simply due to the condition?
