I have been trying very hard to convince people that crossfit is a legitimate, professional, serious establishment. Instead, this looks like "Joe Shmo" started up a blog that kinda gained a following and is big on .blogspot and NOT a real, world-wide, world-class, scientific-based fitness program.

That copy of the journal will cost you another $25/yr to get.
This doesn't surprise me. Does anyone else remember when the CF forum moderators forwarded all web links from IronGarm to CrossFit to some porn sites? It only lasted for about a day, because tons of CrossFitters were getting hit by it as they lurked at IGx - tons of CrossFitters that complained to their local affiliate owners.
Once again, Glassman maintains the company reputation.

I have to wonder if anyone reported it to their work web-filtering program. That might be... unfortunate... to all those that check mainsite from their workplace.

At my Level 1 "cert", we were explicitly told NEVER to let anyone do more than **5** total reps their very first time on the GHD, and that was only if the person could demo enough stability to do them (ie. hold their body straight and parallel to the ground on the GHD first).
I really think someone is trying to destroy CF from the inside. This workout will add to the rhabdo cases quite quickly. Or, if not, nice programming move, Budding.

I wonder if it's a response to threads like this, like the recent photo was apparently a response to the responses to some other photo I don't care about. "They think GHD situps cause rhabdo? Let's program a bunch and see what they say. lulz." If you're going to be the head of a multimillion dollar fitness empire, why not have some fun with it?
