Default Getting under the bar

I am a masters lifter, training at home with no regular coach. I am having trouble getting under the bar once it gets anything like somewhat heavy. Wondering what the fix is? Lots of practice from the hang and just lots of low catches? Thanks.

The fix depends largely on the cause. Can you give us some more info? What;s you're front squat relative to your clean? How's your flexibility? Do you shift forward on your feet as you extend? Best would be to post a video.

Thanks Greg,

have your book and am still on the beginner program. I've cleaned 100(power clean), missed 110 at the last meet. 10 kilos was obviously too big a jump. Front squat is 5x5 at 235lb. best LBBS is 395lbX3 DL is 450 X 1, Flexibility is adequate I think, though constantly working on shoulder and ankle flexibility.

Will get some video of tomorrows session.
