Is CF a fad or is it here to stay?
In 5 - 10 years what do you think the status of CF will be?

Actually probably not all that far-fetched if you add this into your fish oil and bacon:

This whole idea of selling Crossfit based on sex appeal and this "functional body" nonsense really ticks me off. Athletes, male and female, have looked ripped since sports were invented. Just because Crossfitters dress like surfers and streetwalkers doesn't mean their body types are unusual.
Here's Ivan Stoitsov. His body looks so funkshunal -- do you think he does double-unders???
Oh yeah and here's Chris Solinsky. This guy runs a 10k a few minutes faster than most Crossfitters run their 5k (under 27 minutes):
And there's no way this guy is anywhere near as ripped as the top CFers...right...? Even though he out squats, benches, cleans, sprints, jumps, throws, and runs 99% of them...?

Yeah, it's like going from a 200lb deadlift to a 750lb deadlift pulling maxes only a few times a year..... Still waiting to see that.

Y'all need to stop posting videos and pictures and stats for Bryan Clay. My ogling receptors are approaching critical capacity and I need my brain to not melt down before my OChem final on Monday.

I'm scoping out the affilliates with Westside racks, GHRs, platforms, and Pendlay bars/bumpers. Can you say, "discount?"

This strikes me as flat out delusional.

For comparison.
Please look at the Games competitors' squat numbers:
http://games.crossfit.com/finals/competitors/female
And, then compare to:
http://weightlifting.teamusa.org/ath...talie-burgener
I am not meaning to knock the accomplishments of the Games athletes, but some of them squat less than I do.
The difference between a Games athlete with a 198 lb squat and an elite weightlifter with a 160 kg squat = delusional.
