Default Mat Lalonde Nutrition Seminar

I don't know if many of you know of, or like, Mat Lalonde, but he has released a new online nutrition seminar here https://opt.infusionsoft.com/cart/st...8&naviprod=290 While a lot of his science rants are over my head, I enjoyed his last online seminar and will be getting this one too. For those of you who are really science minded (Darryl Shaw comes to mind) you may really enjoy this as if it is anything like the last one, it is heavily referenced. It is however quite expensive.

SWEET. I saw his seminar in Toronto awhile back- the dude's stuff is dense, but he knows his shit.

I don't like commenting on something I haven't read but I don't think this represents good value for money given that the author has no relevant qualifications in the subject and each of the books listed below can be had for less than $99.

Essentials of Human Nutrition by Jim Mann and Stuart Truswell.

Human Nutrition: A Health Perspective by Mary E. Barasi and Megan Morris.

Fundamentals of Human Nutrition by Catherine Geissler and Hilary Powers.

Exercise Physiology: Nutrition, Energy, and Human Performance by William D. McArdle, Frank I. Katch and Victor L. Katch.
(Note: The previous edition is still available for ~$30 - link.)

Clinical Sports Nutrition by Louise Burke.

Nutrition in Clinical Practice: A Comprehensive, Evidence-Based Manual for the Practitioner by David L. Katz.
(Note: this references S. Boyd Eaton's work in a number of chapters.)

Introduction to Nutrition and Metabolism, Fourth Edition by David A. Bender.

While Mat may not be a "nutritionist" I personally have never read or watched anything as steeped in science as this lecture, but maybe that's just because I'm not a scientist or nutritionist. The books listed are probably excellent resources, but it never hurts to keep an open mind and listen to someone else, even if their field is organic chemistry and they are talking about nutrition.
