Thanks, but I don't Crossfit. I'm an Olympic Weightlifter, albeit a Master's lifter, and help run East Valley's Olympic Weightlifting side/team. East Valley just gives me a place to train in return for coaching. We had a few guys stop by and ask about our programming, so I thought that might be you. I will see at Winter Games. Not sure I'll lift as I might be going to Dallas the weekend after for a meet (to lift with my old crew out of Spoon Barbell), but I'll be there to cheer/coach any of our lifters.

Keith, it's nice to "meet" you.

I would invite you to check out the magazine, especially the "What is functional fitness" in the second issue if you'd only got a second.

I'm trying to differentiate GPP for the masses through thoughtful training and lifestyle changes from "crossfit" as it's too often applied (i.e. with an elitist view and without consideration of the individual's goals and needs).

I am very open to any contriubtions you might wish to make on the topic of olympic weightlifting, primarily as it pertains to the generalist.

Jeff

Agreed!!! We are missing him too. We actually just got Alex Lee in to help coach the Olympic Lifting. He's a 69kg lifter who's put up 130/160, but is now moving up to the 77kg class.
