Bar Questions
Has anyone worked with the pendlay needle bearing bars? I'm debating getting one of those versus the werksan or eleiko training bars.
Also, I live in wisconsin and workout mostly out of my garage. If I keep a bar like that in my garage during the winter (below freezing) will that mess it up? Should I keep it inside, take it out to train, and then bring it back in?
Thanks!

Greg,
What bars do you use in the gym? Werksan?

Not sure if anyone cares, but after much googling and reading of pretty old posts, I bought the pendlay needle bearing bar. I'll leave a review sometime in the next few months.

Training bars at Catalyst
I'd also like to know what bars Catalyst uses. From the videos it looks like you could spin the bar, go take a leak, come back and it would still be rotating.

I used the Pendlay HD Bushing bars at Midtown Strength in the spring. Pretty nice. Can't remember what bar I ended up with at my visit to CalStrength though.
Haven't tried a Werksan though there was an Eleiko. It was kind of an odd bar. There was also some of those Japanese ones.

Used Bars
Anyone know where I can find some good used weightlifting bars? Like maybe a used chapman, or pendlay that is used, Im trying to find a bar to use in my garage, not for crossfit but strictly weightlifting, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
