Think we got the bar closer to the body. Looking for critique and thoughts on going heavier. Son is 13 about 145lbs and this snatch is 52lbs. Planned on staying no higher than this for a while and concentrate on technique. Thanks.
Pretty good! Work on trying to get him to stay over the bar a little longer, i.e. don't start opening the hips as soon, and relax the arms a bit more and longer. But this is a really good start.
Needs to get his knees back a bit more as he comes off teh floor and keep them back longer in the pull. I would suggest having him push the knees out to the sides in his start position - this will in effect "shorten" the legs and keep the knees out of the way of the bar.
