Ankle Injury..maybe calf, help?
So doing front squats today, ended up dropping one and in pure stupidity (because I was at a no-dropping weights gym), I tried dropping it slowly.
In the process, I heard a "pop" and have found that any internal rotation of my knee causes pain on the side, lower part of my ankle/calf.
There is no swelling, and pain is only bad at certain angles - I can squat just below parallel with no pain, but being in the jerk position hurts like a mother (my injured ankle is on the foot that goes back on the jerk)
I am just wondering if anyone knows why, if I sprained it, there would be no swelling, or if it is more likely I tore a muscle.
