I lived in Muskegon for 9 years and know some of the Hoekstra's. I will have to call my buddy and see if they are related to him.

Scott,
Like they were talking about with the metabolism that goes along with this mutation--no IFing for these folks, and they sure as heck better get their EFAs or they're bound to have all sorts of mental stuff going on (or not going on).
That would definitely seem a drawback if there were no food around to eat.
