Default What the World Eats

What the World Eats a photo essay by Time Magazine
"And for crying out loud. Don't go into the pain cave. I can't stress this enough. Your Totem Animal won't be in there to help you. You'll be on your own. The Pain Cave is for cowards.
Pain is your companion, don't go hide from it."

The first thing I noticed when I looked through this a few days ago was all the junk food people eat, and not just the Americans. I also noticed that the people that spent the least looked to have the most natural, healthful diets. Granted, the cost-of-living difference between these countries is huge.

The German's looked to have a lot of liquor...

From my travel experience, people everywhere in the world eat lots of junk food and I'm not just talking the packaged kind you get a 7-11. Each ethnic culture has there own junk food that they usually eat lots of...the question I ask is why aren't they huge like us North American'rs? Sleep? Extreme sedate and inactive lifestyles? most of there junk food was home made too...
Healthy body sick mind...

One of the big answers to your question, Archie, is high fructose corn syrup. Even Coke in other countries is made with real sugar. I think this is one huge difference between the US and other places in terms of the obesity issue.
