Pretty expensive. I used to have access to some monsters (3" links or so), worked pretty well for dragging on concrete. Haven't been able to find an affordable replacement version. My tire/sled cost me about 4 bucks to make, plus whatever I paid for the strap to pull it (under $10).
Use anchor chain. The big stuff. The links that are used on carriers are 360# a link, if I remember rightly. If you are near a shipyard of any fashion you might be able get some. There is smaller anchor chain. I didn't mean to go for CV chain.
