Default MVP, IF, and low blood volume

OK, I posted this over on the CF boards and got some help, but not much. Maybe someone here can help me out. I have a history of severe anxiety and anxiety attacks...or so I thought. The attacks have been particularly bad over the past year or so and I began to worry that my heart may be at risk. Anyway, I received a stress echo cardiogram which indicated that I have Mitral Valve Prolapse, a condition that I inherited from my mother. Without going into great detail, with this disorder I basically have anxiety attacks daily; jumpy, irregular heart beat, and a low level chronically dull chest pain. I also experience light headedness and dizziness and frequently feel as though I'm going to pass out upon standing. I've done a lot of research on this lately and the main scheme of things seems to be to increase blood volume, since that apparently is what causes the whole disorder to begin with. Some tips to do this are increase salt intake, drink A LOT of water, and get exercise. I already do the water and exercise and recently increased the salt with no improvement thus far. Another, apparently, is called dysautonomia, which is basically a dysfunction of the nervous system, in my case creating a constant surge of norepinephrine and cortisol, which explains the fatigue, etc. Now, to get to the point. it appears s though IF seems to aggravate the symptoms of this disorder, and I have read somewhere that skipping meals can tend to have this effect. Which gets me to thinking, since IF causes decreases in BP, and if I already have low blood volume (which will inevitably result in low BP) then this may be the reason for the aggravation. So basically, should I ditch the IF or what? In some respects IF has done some much for me, but I literally am losing my mind over here. I feel like I'm having a heart attack everyday. It's HELL. Any advice or any info on MVP would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

First....breathe deep....all that worry is probably not going to help....

Second....add some Soy sauce to your meals to up your Sodium...

Third....Repeat Step #1.....take a walk in nature.....

Now that's all the wisdom I have to tide you over until someone smarter than me can respond.....

Are you on any magnesium?

I'd highly suggest a toxic metal test. PM me if you are interested.
