Coffee and Draft Beer are Good for You!
http://www.thepaleodiet.com/nutritio...ols/acid.shtml
I like to think I'm reading this correctly. It shows both coffee and beer as base or alkaline producing foods. Sweet.

Draft beer sucks....unless it is Guinness of course.
Funny...I would of guessed Coke, coffee and beer to be more acidic, like shown below....Not that this is medically proven...but an interesting chart to compare to...

I have to disagree on this one. I enjoy the occasional Sierra Nevada or Sweetwater 420 on draft, although it has been a while.

I can't believe they don't have tequila on that list. Inquiring minds want to know!
In the meantime, I can keep myself quite satisfied on coffee and beer.

You really need to try more good draft beer then. Especially if you think Guinness is the pinnacle. Delicious? Yes. The best beer ever? Far from it. American Piss-water Beers (Bud, Miller, Coors, etc) suck no matter the delivery method.

I have thus far been unimpressed by the beers in Italy. They remind me of miller lite. The wine is a whole different matter.

Unless it is a micro brew or a tap at the source (brewery)....I don't drink drafts or that other piss water unless I am at the college bar with pitchers are $1 and I have $5 in my pocket....I agree Sierra Nevada is tasty....I like Sweetwater too since it is brewed here....

Those $1 pitcher nights can be fun. Getting blind drunk cheaply is the only excuse for drinking American light beers.

Rob-
If you make it to Chico I will buy you some Sierra Nevada from the source!
